Bethany Presbyterian Church sponsored the building of a water project in Gulu Uganda. This project consists of installing gutters, down spots, and collection barrels on the buildings of the PCEA congregations in Gulu and Mukono, Uganda.
Two recent emails from Rev. Godfrey Kato, Uganda:
We love you so much and I do promise on behalf of Uganda Mission Area that, we shall keep God’s Love and work shining here in Uganda because of your love and support. I know and very much sure that, whenever people will collect the water and just seeing the tank at Church, their minds will think of some one out there and you’ll be the one.
The project was done well for the two churches that is Gulu and and Mukono churches.
I report to you with thanks giving that, the project was received well and that, it has cause a very GREAT impact in the lives and minds of people most especially the Mukono church.
The members of mukono church have decided to use the water harvest to start another project. This church is on a 1 acre piece of land and apart from the church and small gardens of members, there is no any other project on it. We had started a nursery school on it, but, it never took off well because of lack of structures to operate from and funding. But after receiving the water at church,Courtesy of you, members have decided to use the water available to start a brick making project which will result in classes. they have decided to make 50000 thousand bricks which is enough to build a seven classroom Block and the project has already kicked off as you will witness with the photos.
Blessings my Brethren.
Your bro. in Christ’s Service,
Rev.Godfrey Ssali Kato
